Chicago’s Jordan V, was born Jordan Vandesteene in November of ’82 in Davison, Michigan and uncovered his passion for music early in life.
Dripping in pure energy and absolute stamina and resilience, Jordan V
is now a prime contender in Chicago’s music landscape and strives to
achieve his lifelong dream of starting his own record label.
In a time where versatility is needed to please today’s club scene,
Jordan V has it covered playing everything from house to hip hop, mash ups, and even rock remixes to sold-out venues. This multi-faceted artist can seamlessly mix one genre to the next, keeping the crowd guessing and always moving their feet. You wanted a party DJ? Well, you’ve found him.
As the DJ of the crème de la crème of Chicago’s elite, he holds down
the hottest and most exclusive Friday and Saturday night residencies
at Crobar and The Underground, playing for the likes of A-list
celebrities such as Chris Rock, Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Jeremy
Piven to name a few. Sharing the bill and opening for countless
headlining acts is nothing new to Jordan with Steve Angello and
Sebastian Ingrosso, Joachim Garraud, Flosstradamus, and celebrity
spinner DJ Cassidy being part of a list too long to write. The
official 2008 Green Tie Ball afterparty crowd was also his to rock
along with the official afterparty for the anticipated movie, “Public
Enemies” with over 800 in attendance, invite only.
Last year Jordan brought 2008 to a close performing at the Crystal
Gardens party at Chicago’s famous Navy Pier with over 1,800 in
attendance and is confident 2009 will provide even greater
opportunities for him to move forward with his dreams. With electronic
music production in the works, Jordan will settle for nothing short of
greatness in the years to come and doesn’t plan on taking a breather
anytime soon. He definitely has things spinning in control when it
comes to spreading energy in the clubs of the windy city and the rest
of the midwest.
