The talk of the video game and music industry over the past few months has been all about the new video game by Activision, DJ Hero. The game itself is a spin off of the widely successful Guitar Hero franchise from Activision. To celebrate the release of the game, Activision partnered with two of today’s most recognizable faces of Hip-Hop in Jay-Z and Eminem to release a special limited edition version of the game entitled the Renegade Edition, which boasts a “premium Renegade Turntable Controller, hardshell Turntable Carrying Case that converts to a performance-ready DJ stand, and an Exclusive JAY-Z and EMINEM 2-CD pack.” To celebrate the release of the game this week, Activision hosted a Press Conference at The Plaza Hotel in New York City with special guest, Jay-Z.
