Roc4Life has an immense appreciation for anything that’s dope! L.A. artist Mr. Brainwasher in our opinion truly embodies everything the word dope stands for. He’s found a way of showing appreciation of his favorite musicians by creating murals of them out of old vinyl records. Now if that isn’t dope then I don’t know what is. Guess who’s among his collection? The best to ever to do it–Jay-Z of course!

This is from a very talented and hard working young photographer/poet, Maryam Toson.

She said that the project is to provoke thought within yourself and others involved. Her next step is shooting I WANT, I NEED in different parts of the world ie. Egypt and then draw comparisons and spark dialogue around the similarities and differences.

I also love that she will be giving a voice to the homeless by incorporating their answers to the collage/book as well.
