Attended the B by Aperire Fashion Show & Party in West Hollywood.  The shoes are fashionably comfortable, designed by Hiromi Tatsuta the Creative Director for the company.  Up close with Hiromi, here’s what I learned:
 
Jennifer Sharee (JS): Hiromi, your shoe designs are phenomenal!  I’m so excited to meet you and preview the new collection.  Tell me, when was the company founded?

Hiromi Tatsuta (HT): Thank you Jennifer, it is exciting for me as well.  We started the company 4 years ago, but I had been working with other companies doing shoe designs as well.  Japan is where we began and we have a presence in the US in cities LA, NYC & DC.  Our store here in LA is our only store in the US.

JS: Do you manufacture the merchandise in Japan?
HT: Yes, all mass production is out of Japan.

JS: When did you launch in the US?
HT: May 2009

JS: Wonderful!  Do you conduct fashion shows often in the LA store?
HT: This is our first fashion show!  We do host events periodically in store as well.
