Chris Brown’s upcoming album F.A.M.E. has an official release date of March 22nd, according to Jive Records. The LP features production by Jim Jonsin, Kevin McCall, Polow Da Don, and Diplo, among others, along with collaborations with Bruno Mars, Drake, and Justin Bieber.
Since the release of the poorly-received Graffiti, Chris Brown has released a steady flow of mixtapes and collaborations, all of which have worked to engineer Brown’s career revitalization. Now, the singer has seemed to have pieced together most of the shattered pieces of his career. The success of “Yeah 3x,” along with the mixtape singles “Deuces” and “No BS,” have enabled the singer to focus on music again as opposed to his previous wrongdoings, which seemed to be repeatedly invoked whenever the name Chris Brown was spoken.
The songs from the album are fun and energetic, some of which function within the musical confines of dance-pop, while others lay it thick with the urban appeal.

Kanye West is already headlining the annual Coachella music festival in Indio, California. When the complete lineups were announced, the sold out in hours. Now it has been announced West will headline the first South American edition of Lollapalooza, as the festival heads to Chile. The festival is the brainchild of Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell and is usually held at Grant Park in West’s native Chicago.
“We are confident a massive music audience is awaiting us in Santiago,” Farrell said, in a written statement. “What we are very interested to learn is how widely spread the demographic will be. In Chicago we have hipsters as well as young parents with children in attendance. It is one of the few places in the world where a generation gap doesn’t exist.”
Lollapalooza is going international 20 years after first making its domestic debut. West and Cypress Hill will be the most notable Hip Hop acts in the predominately Rock/Alt lineup. Lollapalooza Chile will take place April 2 – 3 in O’Higgins Park in Santiago. More information is available at the official Lollapalooza Chile website.
