Louis Vuitton is set to unveil a pop-up store in Cannes during the 64th International Film Festival from May to August 2011.

Next door to its original store on the Croisette, this pop-up store reinforces the brands strong relationship with the city of Cannes whilst paying homage to the world of cinema.

The décor of  the resort store inspired by both the seaside and the cinema, will have a catwalk like passageway leading visitors through the various aspects of the Louis Vuitton world. Behind the stylish stone frontage overlooking the Croisette, the first section of the pop-up store presents three environments, Cocktail Party by the Pool, Iconic Evening and Evening Grand Soir, each setting the ambience of the store.

Devoted particularly to Louis Vuittons’s evening collections and iconic products, the pop-up store will unveil a selection of ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories from the collections designed by Marc Jacobs, Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton.

Following through the promenade, a garden courtyard can be seen at the far end. From there, a second section of the store appears, offering a lounge area with a dedicated space to showcase the Maison’s most beautiful pieces of both watches and jewellery.
