This re-release of Jay-Z’s classic album, The Blueprint, has a potential to reach those rarefied and lofty heights of the ultimate hip hop collector’s vinyl.  Only 2001 have been made, all blue, on 180 gram vinyl. As of right now they are still for sale, get them while they’re hot and lock them in a vault.

PETA gains a new celebrity endorser all the time, and their latest happens to be the Pastry co-founder and Rev Run’s daughter Angela Simmons. The Simmons sister goes nude in the latest photographed PETA advertisement, baring it all, only covering herself with her hair and a hand.

Global Grind posted up the photos of the glowing Angela, in an ‘Adam and Eve’ styled shoot where she holds an apple to show off her lifestyle. She’s only been a vegan for about a year and a half, but is really excited to continue on her path to become a full-fledged Vegan, like her uncle Russell Simmons.

“Hopefully I’ll be a vegan in a couple of years, but I’m taking it one step at a time. My uncle inspired me to become a vegetarian, a vegan, when I was young.I tried to be a vegetarian and I couldn’t do it because I was in a family that ate so much meat. But I finally made the change and it’s been like a year and a half now and I’m pretty proud of myself.”

Complex.com publishes their J. Cole online cover story and got their in-house writer Damien Scott, Cole’s ex-College roommate from St. John’s University, to write the story of Jermaine’s come up and describe the time they stood in the rain in front of Baseline Studios back in 2005.

Big changes are coming to the Nets next year, not the least of which is the basketball team’s relocation from New Jersey to Brooklyn. Their new home turf, the Barclays Center, is under construction (with a $4.9 billion price tag), and today Nets co-owner Jay-Z announced at a press conference that he’ll kick off the opening of the arena and the 2012-2013 season by performing “maybe one, maybe two, maybe three” concerts there next September. He later added, “Definitely more than one.” And just think, there will be at least one more Jay-Z fan in the world by the time the gigs happen.

The Japanese brand has released the Bape Sta Sneakers, which features a canvas upper decked out in militaristic patterns. Available in classic, brown and blue, these are now available in Bape stores.
