2011 has seen Kim Jones leave Dunhill, as well as work alongside Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton. He can now add Menswear Designer of the Year to that list of milestones after having the honor bestowed upon him at the British Fashion Awards. This marks the third time that Jones has taken home the top prize in the men’s fashion world. Other winners included Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen, who was a shoe-in for Designer of the Year on the heels of her Kate Middleton Royal Wedding masterpiece

Kanye West Announces BDO Side Shows

Kanye West will take his very important concepts/hydraulic powered plinth to two Big Day Out sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney. The rap auteur headlined this year’s Splendour In The Grass and will do the same for three East Coast dates of the Big Day Out (Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast), but these will be his first Australian sideshows since the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Jay-Z collaboration Watch The Throne.
