The work of Yuki Matsuda is perhaps best-known with his footwear brand Yuketen, however the Japanese designer has also quietly worked on Monitaly since the brand’s inception in 1997. The brand’s name is derived from his three loves, Monica (his daughter), the military and Italy and produces an aesthetic not unlike Yuketen with a distinct heritage feel and high-quality construction.
Matsuda shows his preference for the military with a ‘Camo’-collection featuring a blazer, vest and pants. You can buy the total collection at Present London.
