Modeselektor and Thom Yorke’s collaboration for “This” gets the surreal visual treatment courtesy of Andrew Jones for FutureDeluxe. Pulled from Modeselektor’s album Monkeytown, the video utilizes wooden dolls and lifelike puppets to create a morose and macabre scene that ties in nicely with the musical arrangement put together. The visual triumph is a blend of creativity and perfect execution – creating a music video that enhances the song rather than pulling attention from it.

Formed typically with used skateboards in line with Haroshi’s three-dimensional style, the sculpture was particularly well received. They have since produced 200 limited prints of it in a signed and numbered edition. The archival Giclee print on 300g/sq.m. Kakita paper measures 24″ x 36″ (609mm x 914mm) and will go on sale tonight at exactly 8 p.m. PST here.
