The latest edition of the adidas Originals Hackmore comes in the form of a “Mad Villain” pack. Taking inspiration from both the streets and the basketball court for a contemporary take on a mid-’90s silhouette, the kicks see a PU-coated synthetic leather upper alongside a padded collar and pops of color on the likes of the lining, midsole, and outsole. Juxtaposing a predominately black colorway with one of understated grey and bold red accents, the adidas Originals Hackmore “Mad Villain” pack is now available at select adidas Originals stockists for $107 USD each.

An early ’90s classic and a perfect representation of the decade’s style sensibilities, the “Grape” edition of the Air Jordan 5 is set for a retro return more than 20 years after its initial release. Sporting a White/New Emerald-Grape colorway, the kicks see a predominately white leather upper with minimal black accents, an icy blue outsole, and a combination of New Emerald and Grape accents on everything from the tongue and midsole to the branding. Complete with the silhouette’s signature WWII Mustang fighter plane-inspired midsole design and breathable mesh paneling, the 2013 Air Jordan 5 Retro “Grape” is due to hit Jordan Brand retailers on May 4 for $160 USD.

Borrowing aesthetics from theAir Jordans VI and VII, the pair features a speckled black midsole sandwiched by stunning bright citrus and deep royal blue. Scheduled for release in May, these will retail at $140 USD. Maison Martin Margiela releases a replica of one its classic footwear silhouettes for Spring/Summer 2013. Originally making an appearance in the 1970s, this silhouette makes use of a breathable woven upper featuring grey and brown strands of premium Italian leather. On the interior, soft leather lines the walls of the shoe while an elastic tongue renders lacing optional. All of these features rests atop a gum sole, making it a potential lightweight solution for the increasingly warm weather.
